Follow the instructions to add your email account to your iPhone or IPad.
Step 1 - Open the settings page on your device by tapping on the settings icon.
Step 2 - Tap the "Accounts & Passwords" tab and tap on "Add Account".
Make sure to scroll down if you do not see the accounts tab at the top of the page. It will look similar to the screenshot below.
Below the list of the existing accounts, you will see an option that reads "Add Account". Tap on this to start adding your email account.
Step 4 - Choose "Other"
On the next screen, choose the "Other" option, to specify that you will be adding your own email account.
Step 5 - Add Mail account
On the next screen, choose the option under the "Mail" label that reads "Add Mail Account".
Step 6 - Add your email account details
In this window, you will add your "Name", "Email", and "Password". Once done, click the Next button on the top of the screen.
Step 7 - Complete the rest of your email account details
At the top of the window, you will see IMAP and POP. Make sure to choose IMAP if you are using a phone or tablet. If you are using a Mac workstation, choose POP instead. Fill in "Host Name", "Username" and "Password" for both the incoming and outgoing settings. Make sure to use your complete email as the username e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org instead of just the name e.g. test. Fill in all of the settings as you received them from your hosting provider. When done, click the "Next" button at the top of the screen.
At this point, your device is checking its connection with the mailserver. You may well see an alert notice ‘Cannot Verify Server Identity’. Click on Continue to confirm you trust the mailserver you’re using. It will probably appear twice as it checks both Incoming and Outgoing ports. Then click Save or Done.
Step 8 - Done
You can now open your email app.
You will see the new account listed below any other accounts you already added.
